FAQ

Everything you need to know about exploring, planting signals, and reshaping the sonic world on Funky Map.

Planting a signal is simple. Navigate to the Map page and click (or tap) on any location where you want your sound to live. A scanner interface will appear, allowing you to upload your audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG supported, max 20MB) and provide a descriptive title. Once submitted, your sound becomes a permanent layer of the global map for others to discover. Note: You must be logged in to plant signals.

For precise positioning, ensure you have granted Location Permissions to your browser. If you are using a VPN or Proxy, the map may default to the server's location rather than your physical coordinates. You can manually recalibrate your position by clicking the "Locate Me" arrow icon on the bottom right of the map interface.
